Veronica Johnson - Design Team Lead

Hi, my name is Veronica Johnson alias “Kitsnbitscraps”.  I have been doing crafts since I can remember. My mom taught my twin sisters and me to knit, sew, cross stitch, embroidery, and I was always coloring and sketching.  I was raised in Southern California in a little town by the beach called Hermosa – then I was transferred to South Florida.  I was introduced to scrapbooking by my new co-workers in Florida and that was 12 years ago. That is when I became addicted to paper! I have kept busy by teaching scrapbook and stamping classes at scrapbook stores and conventions and love every minute of it. From the first time I walked into a scrapbook store I was hooked! I even went as far as buying a Scrapbook Store, then I opened an online Kit Club – finally I became a sales representative for the scrapbook industries manufacturers and sold and represented companies such as Ranger Industries, Hero Stamps, WeR Memory Keepers, Glitz Design … good times.

I am very blessed to be married to my wonderful husband Kerry who is very supportive of my passion for color and pattern. And I am so blessed to be a mother to my beautiful and very kind daughter Vanessa who can draw better than I and is an inspiring make-up artist. Our family also has two fur babies, Bandit and Moe our kitties.

I have a passion for creating and sharing my love of crafting, whether it’s cards, layouts, albums, altered and mixed media; I love doing it all. I also enjoy bringing new tidbits and techniques to inspire as many crafters as I can through color.  If I had to name my style I would say “Shabby Whimsy” because I always start projects with lots of color then depending on my mood I will shabby it down with browns, texture and layers.  Each day is a new adventure and every day I try and learn something new.  I am grateful to be a part of this amazing company and hope that I can inspire you.

Tracey Sabella - Designer

Hello, I’m Tracey and reside in northeast Ohio with my amazing husband, Gary. Our family and faith have always been an important part of our lives. We have been blessed with four wonderful children, and with two weddings in as many years, our family is growing.

I'm a shabby chic, mixed media artist and enjoy the creative outlet of paper crafting. I’ve been creating and crafting for as long as I can remember and use many of those skills on my projects. I adore learning new techniques along the way and enjoy sharing my projects along with tips and techniques on my blog. I also design for Donna Salazar Designs, Once Upon A…Sketch and Helmar. I've been published each month at Scrapbooking.com Magazine for the past year. I'm a huge fan of Leaky Shed Studio chipboard and am thrilled to be part of this amazing team.

Trisha Neal - Designer

My name is Trisha Neal, also known as Trisha too in the land of the internet.  I live in a rural area of South Kansas City, MO, with my best friend and husband of 25 years, our youngest son and daughter (two sons married last summer, but live close by), and an array dogs, cats, bunnies, and chickens.
Thanks to my dear mother, who kept the house well stocked in art supplies and good art books, and who set the example by continually working on different art and craft projects, taking me to galleries, art shows, and on forays to the art supply store, I have an undeniable, ingrained  love of all things art.

I currently design for Altered Pages, Rogue Redhead Designs, Altered Arts Magazine, Unruly Paper Arts. Thank you, Leaky Shed Studio, for the opportunity to work with your wonderful team.

Laura Gilhuly - Guest Designer

I am Laura Gilhuly, I live in a small town in south-western Ontario in beautiful Canada. I am very honored to be asked to guest design for this amazing company and I look forward to playing with all the yummy chipboard!!!!  I am happily married for almost 15 years to my best friend and the most patient & handsome man on earth, Jon. Together we have two amazing boys, Cody is 13 and Tyler is 12.  They are 13 months apart and keep me busy. I have always been crafty, and I love to create so my sister brought me to beginner class and I although I really enjoyed it I just wasn't drawn to it until I struck out on my own. I found a few very helpful and friendly sites on the web and have been trying new things and learning ever since. I love to ink, tear, layer and distress my projects!  Along the way I have made some incredible friends that inspire me daily!  My creations are about my family - they are the focus of my life, my inspiration, and my motivation to scrapbook.

Tracey Gregory  - Designer

Hello! My name is Tracey and I live in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts with the love of my life, my husband Gary.  I have been blessed to be the mother of four children: Hayden (23), Austin (21), Lukas (16) and the "baby" girl, Naomi (14).  I am also a proud auntie to my adorable niece, Vivien.

When I'm not creating, or at my daughter's Drama/Voice events, you'll find me serving in my church in the nursery, Sunday school, directing the Worship arts team or doing mission work.  To support my scrapping habit I work as a Quality Assurance/Staff Educator RN for Hospice of Western Massachusetts.

I am definitely a shabby chic style scrapper.  I love all things vintage, tattered and worn. I like to play with Mixed Media and off the page projects as well.  My family is the focus of much of mys scrapping.  I have been published online and print magazines.  I've served on multiple kit, manufacturer, and challenge Design Teams and currently design for Scraps of Darkness.  I am so excited to be back on the Leaky Shed Studio Design Team!
